Okay so we decided we might want to add fire to our mini underwear bonfire to give it a more festive edge. I'm still unsure on if i 100% like the idea because i don't think that its something ASOS would ever do. However i wanted to try and create a toned down and minimal version that might have fire on it. I only added really small amounts around the bonfire itself as if it had just this second caught on fire. I didnt want it to distract from the underwear but it does make the image interesting. I made the lighting on the image slighter warmer too since the fire would be hypothetically warming the scene. I think i'm happy with the outcome of my image but for some reason i feel like i would rather use the none lit one, without the fire.

I decided to take to instagram in order to practise some still life photography in order to get a feel for how shots may look good and can be positioned etc. I didnt use lingerie due to insufficient props but tried other things such as lipstick and footwear etc. I feel that it helped me get an idea for lighting and get a feel for what still life photography is all about. It was also really enjoyable!
